Teaching Artist - Mexican Folk Dance

The ACES Program (Art Communities Engaging Students) is seeking a teaching artist for a 28-week Mexican folkloric dance program offered to students in grades 3rd, 4th and 5th on Chicago's Northwest side.  This after school program, now in their fourth year, meets Monday through Thursday from mid-October 2018 to the end of May 2019 - except on CPS non-attendance days. Each session will culminate with a student presentation during both the Winter and Spring.  Pay rate is $30 per hour for instruction with additional compensation for prep time and program meetings as needed during the school year.  If interested, please send resume with contact info to Nancy A. Skills & Qualifications: 

Experience with teaching elementary students

Background in Mexican folkloric dance instruction
