Essential Function:

You are applying because you understand and appreciate luxury upscale-level customer service.  You are applying because you see yourself being a member of the Luxe Bloom® family that dutifully delivers quality experiences. You are applying to help ensure that we meet and exceed our customers expectations with perfectly crafted floral arrangements delivered on time and arrive without breakage.  

Job Responsibilities:

Provide services of the highest level including, but not limited to; assisting in all aspects of general labor/preparation within the floral production process. We replicate simple designs in large volumes. Additional to traditional production duties may apply for large-scale installations. 

Assist in maintaining the inventory of flowers, vessels, and supplies.

o   Maintain a clean and organized stock and storage area according to inventory maintenance standards.

o   Inventory control: alert the Director or Supply Chain Manager when materials in stock are running low.

Consistently and efficiently assist in the staging and execution of all aspects of daily general production down to the last detail.

o   Prep flowers and vases per the sales orders as instructed by Director.

o   Assures strict quality control by reviewing and critiquing work for accuracy and high brand standards.

o   Clean the production area at the close of each work-day.

Assist with periodic high-volume production and special orders.

o   Assembly-line style production and prep.

o   Ensure each stage of assembly is completed based on our tight time-line and under strict quality standards. 

Skills & Qualifications: 

What You will Need To Succeed:

We are looking for an individual that is quick thinking, has a service-friendly attitude, strong organizational skills, is very detailed oriented, and a self-starter.  

You also have these skills we seek:

·     Minimum High School degree and 2-3 year’s work experience.

·     Some training (formal or not) in 3D arts required (you are familiar with composing, creating and executing three dimensional artwork).

·     Have an artistic eye, strong motor skills and careful attention to detail.

·     Knowledge or interest in floral is preferred, but note this is not a traditional floral design position.  

·     Other assembly/production experience is advantageous (barista, sous chef, light manufacturing, sewing, general labor, etc.).

·     Good knowledge and ability to use tools and equipment that may include utility knife, wire cutters, hot glue gun, tape measure, etc.

·     Ability to handle glass and fragile items safely.

·     Ability to deal with deadlines, urgent production demands and changes in daily volume of work. 

·     Ability to lift moderately heavy objects, ability to move quickly, and work on your feet for extended periods of time.

·     Demonstrate a positive attitude and professional demeanor.

·     Good verbal communication skills to communicate successfully with team.

·     Must be able to work with employees from all departments of differing experience levels in a positive, encouraging manner. 

·     Flexible, adaptable and willing to help others as needed.

·     Must be responsible for your own transportation to our facility.
