Film Screening Producer & Curator at Uncommon Ground
Uncommon Ground is a sustainable restaurant, urban farm, coffee house, brewery and music venue, with two locations in Chicago. Our intimate listening rooms host live music, comedy, screenings, open mics and more every night of the week at both our Lakeview and Edgewater locations.
Uncommon Ground would love to include a curated film screening as part of it's programming beginning January 2019. This paid opportunity is perfect for someone who is passionate about film, has access to desired films, and has time to curate/produce a reoccurring series. The hand-selected films would be viewed in our Lakeview Listening Room on Wednesday 1-2 times a month. Attendees enjoy beer on tap from Greenstar Brewery, the first all organic brewery in IL, and food from the first 4-star restaurant with a certified organic rooftop farm in the U.S.
This is a freelance opportunity that provides payment so long as you are able draw out the audience and charge cover or ticket the event. Uncommon Ground is not able to offer the producer/curator a flat compensation. Perks include drink tickets and meal discounts!
Our Lakeview Listening rooms seats up to 47.
Cover charge can be added to attendees a food and beverage bill. Or ticketing can be arranged.
Recommended cover charge is $8 - $15.
Venue provides projector and screen.
