Lillstreet Art Center is a multi-faceted art center in Chicago that includes a gallery shop, artist studios and art instruction in seven different departments. We are seeking an individual who is reliable, hard-working, has working knowledge of a variety of visual art media and has prior customer service experience. This front desk position requires someone who is a problem- solver, patient and works well as a part of a team. This is a part-time position but may have the opportunity to add more hours during busy seasons.
- Registering students for classes
- Answering phones
- Fielding student questions and issues
- Selling in the gallery
- Maintenance of gallery including cleaning and restocking
- Additional responsibilities may be added over time
